    Mm, that sounds fair.

That sounds higher than I remember, but it's not like I follow
Screen Actors Guild minimums closely, given that my last acting role
was as the telegram operator in a drama class production of ``Sorry,
Wrong Number''. (And the girl playing the victim remembered wrongly
the sequence of people to call, so I was stuck on stage trying to look
like a telegram operator without props or costume for several minutes
before I found a way to break in.)

It *seems* like he's on every time I'm home for a break, but
I know -- going over my records -- that he's not. I think it's just
vey easy for me to remember his name.

I get the feeling the Christmas Decorations have been going
up later each year, but don't have the data to prove it.

   >> 5. Will they have an excuse not to have them up?

   >No.

They never do, do they? I suppose they want to limit the number
of episodes that are too visually linked to a specific time, so they
can be more easily slipped in as reruns in three months, as if that
   fooled anyone.

Say, they didn't have a rerun week after November sweeps, did they?

   >is cut out for me.

I've given up trying to establish my heterosexuality now that
I've realized the fact I have a collection of comic books -- even though
they're chosen for their oddball and quirky nature rather than for their
having tales of impossibly muscled superhero men fighting off Gronzar,
Chomper of Universes, while the the superhero women swallow the power-
nullification pills and get chopped up and stuffed in fridges -- means
any attempt at sexuality on my part is theoretical and very funny.

   >Yes, although I couldn't tell you the names of any of their songs.

I didn't have the faintest idea, and this is one of those times
I'm glad the Trowbridges include links to a relevant source -- Amazon,
or Internet Movie Database, or so on -- for most of the guests.

   >> 8. Will *I* remember to answer my questions in a reasonable

   >No, of course not.

I never do, do I? It's hard trying to find a couple interesting
things to talk about each day, when I don't catch the show as it is.

   >> 9. Will I have any kind of suitable excuse for not answering?

   >No, of course not.

Usually it's the same excuse, suitable or not: I feel like I
can't fairly write until I've finished off e-mail and other important
tasks, and that will *never* be finished, so sneaking off for something
like this doesn't seem like it's earned yet, and I need to shut up and
   stop overthinking things.

   >> 10. Think they'll have the Christmas decorations up next week?

   >No, they'll be up only for the last two weeks of December (i.e.,
   >starting on December 18th).

That's what they did last year, isn't it? (And that'll be the
first week I see on the 3 am reruns, for those hoping to hear me try to
review episodes when I'm home for Christmas.)

   >Hey, I just realized they won't be able to do a Central Time Zone
   >countdown this year, since New Year's Eve is a Sunday.

Hey, yeah ... and the show for the 1st will probably be taken
up with the usual New Year's resolution type review sketch. Maybe they
can hold a Central Time Zone Chinese New Year Countdown.
