Does anyone know if he was referring to a real law, or just NBC legal
guidelines? Is it a federal law that applies to all TV broadcasts? It
sounds completely stupid that such a law would exist. Given how
clueless the US government is about Internet regulation and how
sue-happy "traumatized" citizens can be, perhaps I shouldn't be so
surprised. Is this the same nonsense that makes them bleep out certain
   website names they don't own?
