From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu               I'm sorry, I got yesterday's date wrong. Blame the Tivo. It       isn't responsible, but it won't protest either.               Another night in Chicago!              Conologue:        - I like the binoculars. Did you catch the monitors       showing the show as he panned across the upper echelons of       studio?               - Chicago introduced a pink line? Seriously? Were they       trying to invite bad jokes?               - Better integration of the local culture in the       Conologue jokes compared to last week.                            Brian McCann Kills Himself Often:        - Well, that'll happen. I was distracted for the last       one because of memories of the Bob Newhart Show.                      Conan at a Blues Bar:        - I'd go for a blues song about cars with good mileage.               - Subverting a blues song's fun. Conan should have gone       for honest singing, though.               - Walking on toes, pretty good trick. Nice that they had       the two union guys so Conan could do that.               - I love the horrified look of the guy driving past who       sees Conan playing.                     Dave Chappelle:        - A standing ovation? Chicago crowds are easy to       delight.               - I know he's supposed to be funny, but I just wasn't       getting any conneciton to him.               - His disappearance to Africa: oh, is that what happened?        I know I heard some things about it, but didn't pay much       attention.               - I didn't know he'd been on 22 times. It does seem like       every time I'm home for something or other he's there, though.       Does raise the question of why have on the show a guy who already       from New York has to pay them rent, though.                       Wheel of Wendt:        - Did Conan spin the Wheel of Wendth the other way from       last time? The believe that it's not rigged was hurt by the spun       item coming up level again.                             Common:        - Fine enough music, so far as I understand these things.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
