From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu               This isn't going to be one of my better reviews; I think I was       a bit too tired to really get into it.              Conologue:        - Carter didn't actually speak at Ford's ceremony today;       he's on schedule for tomorrow.               - Not a really memorable bunch of Conologue jokes this       time around.                      2006 Resolutions:        - The camera wasn't that wide in rehearsal: you know, I'd       always assumed they *had* taped the past-year's party things.               - A date with Fabio?               - Is the 'bloopers' the first time they made up a whole       segment for this, or were the bloopers set up for another show's       bit?               - A week after seeing the Masturbating bear parachute in,       I didn't feel quite like seeing it again. The blues, though, and       Joel doing the Untouchables worked.               - Max's reminiscence: that guy in bed to start with       sounded like he was being dubbed.               - Bit from Finland: funny.               - Triumph in Chinatown: well, that's disturbing.                     LL Cool J:        - I had never thought of LL Cool J as someone to ask for       exercise advice, but he does seem to be in rather good shape. I       don't quite believe Conan is the person to evaluate a fitness       routine.                     Abigail Breslin:        - Oh, funny right off the bat. She carries herself       rather well as a talk show guest. She's got the interviewee       poise of Caroline Rhea. I like the bit about being shocked       another kid didn't work. And she got Conan to sing more or less       sincerely.                            Gov't Mule:        - Still Have To Find My Way Home, or something like that.        I liked the sound of it, but wasn't overly excited either.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
