    On reviewing the Tivo -- actually, on watching the episode with   
   my Dad, who couldn't find the Jeopardy episode hidden at the top of the   
   Tivo list (and that was a touch embarrassing since the show has not been   
   exactly its classiest this week) -- I agree, you're right. It was much   
   more of a self-help section and that makes the whole bit actually make   
   sense as a joke.

    Ah, then, that makes the mention of the show less dated. I missed   
   if Conan plugged the DVD release, although with the intros and outros   
   missing in the later parts of the show it's possible the mention was lost   
   along the way.
