Improbably, it's called "Heimdalsgate Like a Promethean Curse." The only
way I figured that out was by listening to sound clips one by one until I
found a match. (Fortunately it was the fourth track on the album.) I think
I've heard the song before, but I'm not sure where. Anyway, it's a real
upper of a ditty, sure to shift your mood ``back to good again'' with its
seemingly inexhaustible stream of synth-pop hooks and catchy (if a bit
kitschy) sing-along vocals. At first I thought the lyrics were about drugs,
but according to some stuff I read online, the group's leader struggled
with depression while writing the album, so the "chemicals" he addresses in
the song may be simply his own neurotransmitters.

Yep, the histrionics were amusingly outlandish. Quite a show. I missed the
glam-rock heyday of the '70s, so I can't really say how much this group
evokes that era. But I'm glad to see someone in the entertainment world try
something a little out there ("outré" as the French call it), even if it
   may not work for everyone.

I think that's why I started watching Conan in the first place -- the
show's humor either made me fall over laughing or fell flat on its face,
but it was unlike anything I'd seen before. The sketches have become less
inventive and more repetitive as the show has matured, but I still find
most of it entertaining enough to keep watching. I think some turnover in
the writers/actors every couple of years is good for the show, though, to
   keep it from getting stale.
