   This may be a bizarre coincidence, but the President's father ("41") is an   
   acknowledged fan of the movie "The Karate Kid." I wonder if the joke   
   writers knew that.   
      
   Also, to point out the obvious, Conan said Britney, not "Ricky," Spears.   
   But without her hair, I suppose she could pass for a Ricky, so I can see   
   why you might have made the mistake.   
      
   I actually laughed out loud at the Simpson-Spears joke, even though I   
   usually furrow my eyebrows and shake my head whenever Conan takes a   
   gratuitous, mean-spirited swipe at a celebrity. And here he ripped three of   
   them in one joke! Maybe my sense of moral indignation is slipping. Or maybe   
   I just couldn't help but recognize a stroke of comedic genius.
