   	Oh, bah.  Well, I heard 'Ricky', and I figured I had just missed   
   the onset of some new celebrity clod.  I never understood the 'Sanjaya'   
   jokes either, but they appear to be on the way out, as far as I can tell.   
   Between the long-running cheap punch lines and the transients it's hard   
   to keep up with all the celebrities we feel smugly superior to.

   	Well, the thing is most of the 'celebrity clod' jokes is they're   
   all the same joke.  That is, tell one and you have the template for all   
   the rest of them.  This, I have to admit, got out of that rut, if only   
   by calling a bunch of commercially successful people idiots.
