   Nicole Richie:   
   	- It's a strange day, isn't it?  The media coverage is crazy but   
   she supports her as her best friend.  She's been promoting the show like   
   crazy so hasn't seen a TV or anything.  Is it possible she went to jail   
   just to avoid promoting the show?   
   	   
   	- She'll be talking to her ... obviously not anytime soon.  She   
   doesn't know details of visits.   
   	   
   	- In this 'Simple Life' season they go to camp.  She wasn't   
   allowed to go to camp as a child.  She thinks her parents didn't trust   
   her going away.  No sleeping at friend's houses.  She'd watch   
   promotional tapes for camps, and study up, to fool people into thinking   
   she was at them.  ``Yeah, that trail was really nuts.''   
   	   
   	- She had an encounter with police when she was 11.  With Paris   
   Hilton and her parents in Vegas.  It was New Year's and they wanted to   
   avoid the adults.  They didn't think, it's New Year's, you can't get a   
   cab ... they saw two police officers and asked for a ride back.  At the   
   time she thought 15 was really old, so she said 15.  There's a curfew   
   for those under 18; they had to call their parents.  So ... she lied   
   about their names.  Said they were two girls who went to school with   
   them.  And they were caught for lying which ... is ... a crime ... to do   
   to cops.  Her dad said it's the last time you two will ever hang out   
   again.  Unless it's a reality show on Fox.   
   	   
   	- How'd they escape the parents in the start?  Her parents had   
   just got a divorce, so she told her father she was with her mother, her   
   mother was with her father ... Hilton's parents were New Year'sed-out.   
   	   
   	- They dispute Conan's woo-hooing and lying.
