Jimmy Vivino seems under-utilized on the show. Perhaps that was by his
choice. In view of the weird show personas assumed by Max, Joel, and La
Bamba, it might be wise to stay out of the fray.

Originally? I'm not sure, but I probably discovered its existence when I
was searching for information about the show online in the late '90s or
early '00s. For a few years I kept this group bookmarked through Google
Groups, but was not a regular reader. I would search or browse the archives
when I was curious about something on the show, but refrained from
participating in the discussions for various reasons.

A couple of years ago I switched to an ISP with decent Usenet support, and
alt.fan.conan-obrien was one of the first feeds I added to my newsreader. I
was initially a bit disappointed to find that the group's volume of
discussion had tapered off significantly over the years. On the other hand,
the size is manageable now. If I take a break from the group for a few
days, I can catch up in a matter of minutes.
