Perhaps that was by his       choice. In view of the weird show personas assumed by Max, Joel, and La       Bamba, it might be wise to stay out of the fray.              > 16. What brought you to alt.fan.conan-obrien originally?              Originally? I'm not sure, but I probably discovered its existence when I       was searching for information about the show online in the late '90s or       early '00s. For a few years I kept this group bookmarked through Google       Groups, but was not a regular reader. I would search or browse the archives       when I was curious about something on the show, but refrained from       participating in the discussions for various reasons.              A couple of years ago I switched to an ISP with decent Usenet support, and       alt.fan.conan-obrien was one of the first feeds I added to my newsreader. I       was initially a bit disappointed to find that the group's volume of       discussion had tapered off significantly over the years. On the other hand,       the size is manageable now. If I take a break from the group for a few       days, I can catch up in a matter of minutes.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
