Hey, my textbook came in at only $80.

Conan's hair plans were just bizarre, in that ``writing for Mr
Burns'' style insanity, which is a good thing. Past that, though, after
the interview with Pierre Bernard and turning Chris Rock loose it's hard
for the rest of the show not just to be filler. Christopher Meloni held
up well, though, and stayed interesting even if I had the feeling his
comments about not remembering a ``Special Victims Unit'' episode two
weeks after making it was prepackaged for our convenience. We had some
too-rare guest cross-talk too, which ought to be played up more. I know
the guests come with their three pre-interview points to hit, but the
show is *always* more successful when conversation breaks out.
