   the Protestant Reformation ...

This was the best channel I've seen in a long time, IMHO. I guess, in
general, I enjoy watching increasingly ludicrous takeoffs on common events
   such as this.

Here's a full recap of the woman's demands, to which her partner dutifully
   complies:

   1. Turn out the lights.
   2. Put on some music. (He turns on smooth jazz via remote control.)
   3. Funkier. (He changes the music, which now sounds a bit sprightlier, but
is still smooth jazz to my ears.)
   4. Light a candle.
   5. A scented candle.
   6. Take off your shirt.
   7. Grow a mustache. (A full-bodied mustache appears on his face.)
   8. A little one. (Mustache downsizes.)
   9. Be ten years older. (Youngish actor is replaced by Kevin Dorff, a
   writer/actor on the show.)
   10. Say my name. (Says "Allison.")
   11. Say it backward. ("Nosilla.")
   12. Introduce me to your family. (Family shows up alongside couple in bed;
   he introduces them.)
   13. Do a magic trick. (He makes a beautiful woman appear out of a chest.)
   14. Tell me about the German Reformation. (He begins: "Troubled by the sale
of indulgences and the practice of simony in the Catholic Church, German
   monk Martin Luther...")

For the last part, the closed-captioner wrote "sodomy" instead of "simony,"
a slip that I found hilariously appropriate.

Incidentally, video of this channel (and some of the others in the episode)
   can be streamed from nbc.com.
