From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu              Jeff Garlin:        - He's thrilled to shake Abe Vigoda's hand. Fans from Chicago       must be Cubs fans.                - The New York Post mentioned what hotel he was in, so he had to       change hotels. At the new he was readying for an interview and saw two       people jogging at 5:30 am, which they found unremarkable. He would have       bragged and mad a fuss.                - He was directed to a restaurant and promised great bread. The       great bread turned out to be pizza.                - When he and Conan were roommates, Garlin wouldn't answer the       phone normally. He answers theatrically. Used to drive his dad crazy.       They'd let his dad go for letting his son answer that way.                - 'Letting you go' is a great way to be fired as the term is so       gentle.                - When 'Aladdin' was in Burger King cups, they were looking for       the Genie cup. They went to the drive-through and he asked what cups       they had, and drove off when it was the Princess. They went back a few       days later and he used a deeper voice to ask. He was afraid of being       recognized. He went back three or four times.                - For his movie he had to finance it himself. He couldn't get       just a million dollars; studios don't think of budgets that low. One       guy was a bald guy from Spain with dandruff eyebrows, which freaked him       out. He pulled out a week before. 'I will not be giving you my money,       my eyebrows with my eyelashes, it's like a winter wonderland of       dandruff!' So you keep going, asking people.                - One guy came to the meeting with two hookers, who were       better-informed on the movie and financing than he was. After the       meeting the hookers asked him for dinner. He *thinks* he doesn't like       hookers, but hasn't been with them so doesn't actually know. He doesn't       get hooker stories.                - He wanted to get home; the guy then said, 'He doesn't need       dinner, take a look at him!' Garlin asked why he was here ...                - Larry David hates the title 'Someone To Eat Cheese With' as it       ends in a preposition.                     Max is having a beer:        - He's still at work! This isn't work.                - He shares one with Conan. To the weekend.                - And by the side? That's a prostitute. Conan's protest must       mean he wants the prostitute to stand next to him during the show.                - Conan considers if he's too uptight. Max has his hat on.       He's leaving, as he can't work for a guy who drinks at work and cheats       on his wife.                - Max did that to make Conan look foolish and get out of work       early.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
