From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu              Wayne Brady:        - Besides TV he's doing an improv show in Las Vegas. He loves       improv and gets paid a lot. He's got a house to pay for.                - He's living in a hotel; Conan always figured that was fun. It       is fun at first, but he's never bright enough to use an alias and his       face is all over the hotel, so he'll get phone calls. Some girl called       with some spacey thing about she'd seen his show and he was hot and       something about boobies and (click) hummmmm. It's spooky.                - Gambling in the lobby: he doesn't do it. He feels he's       working to get something *from* them, not give it back. He does walk       around the casino, like Sammy Davis Junior, and people-watch.                - He likes watching the prostitutes at work. Now and then one       says something to him, and he sees the transformation, from       disinterested work to fanboy. ``You and your mom love to watch my       show?'' This presents difficulties given their line of work.                - Conan once worked kids' birthday parties. Brady did it too,       working for a company. He was the black Power Ranger for Characters       Kids Love. Not even a good outfit: a motorcycle helmet spray-painted       and such.                - Kids didn't believe he was the Black Power Ranger. The kids       beat him, Timmy included. You have to ask for tips afterward, he played       with them, got kicked in the groin, got his power unit knocked offline.       He didn't know karate: the parents wouldn't tip him. So he cut half       Timmy's cake, took that, and left.                - People want to be on his show. A lot. They'll start singing       at him, ``This is my last chance for romance tonight ... '' He promised       he could be on; they may never see him again.                     Lyle Lovett:        - It's Not Big It's Large: 'Up In Indiana'. The curious thing       about mentions of a girl named Rose, if I heard it correctly, is that I       do have an aunt named Rose who lives in Indiana.                     George Ciliberto:        - He was one of their first cameramen, who was on the show from       1993 to 1997, passed away Friday. Conan's thoughts are with his family.        They show a picture of him in lieu of the credits.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
