   Billy Bob Thornton:
   	- He had a jacket on earlier, but thought he'd break out his
   tattoos.

   	- He plays a lot of 'tough' characters, like Bad Santa. Why
does he get these roles? He doesn't know; they call him. Probably it
was Bad Santa got him focused in this character formula.

   	- There's some of his dad in Mister Woodcock. His dad was a
high school basketball coach. He brought coaching home. He was 5'8",
158 pounds, and everyone was terrified of him. He assumes everyone had
a terrifying gym coach at some point.

   	- Has he rules for roles he plays? It starts with the script,
and tries to do different guys. He avoids Southern Sheriff. Who else
is in it, who's the director, how much money is it?

   	- His character's wife is Susan Sarandon, whom he never met
before, but she's pretty. They hid when her husband, Tim Robbins, was
   there.

   	- He tricked her for the first impression. He wanted to make
her think he was an obsessed fan, and collected dozens of pictures from
her childhood and movies, plastered them in his trailer, and invited her
for coffee, and didn't refer to it.

   	- The joke went nowhere: she didn't say anything or look at the
walls or anything. As time went on she mentioned she noticed he was
trying to play a joke, but perhaps he really has some odd nature. He
   might really be crazy.

   	- After the show we're going bowling. You and me. Conan is
taken aback. Frank Zappa used to do that sort of thing, taking the
whole audience to McDonald's after the show or so. Oprah gives her
audience cars; Conan takes them bowling.
