   Now that it's three and a half months later and almost time for the new   
   TV season to start, I called DirecTV to order WNBC.  So tonight, for the   
   first time in I don't know how long, I watched Conan "live" -- well,   
   okay, I started watching at about 10:00 and used my TiVo to fast-forward   
   through the commercials.  It's a very different experience -- I was   
   fast-forwarding through White Castle ads instead of Jack in the Box ads.   
      
   But now I don't know what I'm going to watch while I eat dinner tomorrow.
