From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu              Jason Schwartzman:        - Conan hopes the cane isn't just an affectation. It's not:       Schwartzman was actually injured, although by breaking two toes playing       shoeless soccer.                - He's got no sympathy for his fracturing his baby toe and the       toe next to it. Describing the toe as having a big brother was probably       not wise.                - He hits Ted Koppel with the cane.                - He co-wrote his film with Wes Anderson. It's his first. He       wrote with Roman Coppola over two years, and even went to India to       write.                - In this Indian town there's a tradition of drinking opium tea,       maybe equivalent to five cups of chamomile -- Conan doesn't think so --       and, well, it was good. It's supposed to give clarity and, uh, joy and,       uh ... he didn't get clarity but he did feel very relaxed, and left the       village thinking they'd found their location.                - In the movie brothers don't quite get joy by going to India to       have a spiritual moment.                - Ted Koppel's still thinking of the five cups of chamomile.                     Dana Gould:        - He's so trained as a husband he can't pick up women anymore.                - Every six years Charles Manson is eligible for parole, and       Gould wonders if Manson gets his hopes up still.                - And now what about David Berkowitz? That guy might have been       nutty! He didn't understand the motives of doggies! And is Satan even       trying very hard?                - And then he goes into Satan doing stand-up, a confusing level       of realities that Gould admits is confusing.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
