   Joe Buck:   
   	- Cleveland/Red Sox is not going well, but Buck is in Conan's   
   living room every night, which is creepy.   
   	   
   	- Someone told Conan that Buck places bets -- this could get him   
   in trouble -- on things in the broadcast.  Conan's heard of texting?  He   
   has his phone (``phone?'') hooked up to the ``world-wide web'' on the   
   ``information superhighway''.  Friends will text him words that he has   
   to fit into the broadcast, and the degree of difficulty depends on the   
   size of the bet.   
   	   
   	- For example, wasabi?  He talks about specialty foods at new   
   stadiums, like, in San Francisco there are Asian specialties with sushi   
   and soy sauce and wasabi.  Then his friend owes him $20.  But for $20 he   
   just turned Buck into a human puppet on national television.   
   	   
   	- Conan came up with the phrase 'Jub Jub' on the Simpsons, and   
   tried for years to get it on, finally getting him to name a salamander   
   that.  Conan's obsessed with the phrase and offers a $1000 charity   
   donation for getting 'Jub Jub' in there -- but he can't just say, 'Conan   
   asked me to say ...'  It'll be a legit Jub Jub, not some fly-by-night   
   Jub Jub.   
   	   
   	- Not much different from wearing that ridiculous tie LaBamba   
   gave him.  Look what Labamba's wearing tonight.  LaBamba was wearing a   
   hideous tie and they got Buck to wear it on last year's World Series.   
   His kids love to play with it.  And in his dressing room there was ...   
   *another* of them.  Meaning there must be *two of these hideous ties   
   made.  Conan and LaBamba wears those when they go clubbing.   
   	   
   	- Conan makes a convincing argument: ``he hit that one deep,   
   it's back, if it's fair it's good, it's a jub jub!''   
   	   
   	- Weird clip: Jonathan Applebaum, funny guy, good closer.  The   
   weird thing: when they clinched their division after fighting off the   
   Yankees, Jonathan comes back out with teammates in the middle of Fenway   
   Park and does this dance that's odd-great-erotic-disturbing-everything   
   wrapped into one.  And it's barefoot and really, really weird.   
   	   
   	- Buck's got the jub-jub worked out.  Conan is careful with his   
   money and doesn't like charity, so he's interested in seeing it.   
   	   
   	- Buck wants to mention if he does get a late night talk show he   
   hopes there's no weird stuff between him and Conan, it's embarrassing as   
   he'd had six or seven people back there asking ``can you take me back to   
   your show?''  Have you ever actually seen Max play drums for Bruce   
   Springsteen?  If Buck gets a late night talk show they'll still be cool,   
   right?  He'd probably be on a half hour earlier. ``I hope you fail.''   
   ``It's on Fox, how can it not fail?''
