   	- Conan hopes those bats are a gift.  Conan finds it quite   
   heavy; he's used to a nerf bat.  Also an O'Brien 07 Red Sox shirt.   
   	   
   	- Thanks so much for changing the life of everyone ever in   
   Boston.   
   	   
   	- How'd he get his 'Big Poppy' nickname?  He's bad with names   
   (``Do you know who I am right now?''  ``No.'')  So he called people   
   Poppy.  And it came back to him.   
   	   
   	- What's it like being David Ortiz living in Boston?  It's okay   
   ... people want to get autographs and talk to you.  He must be walking   
   around with people kissing and hugging him at all times.   
   	   
   	- He answered his own door at Halloween.  250 kids came up.  He   
   didn't invite them in.  You don't give away grilled meats on Halloween.   
      
   	   
   	- He tries psyching out the pitcher.  He lets his beard grow to   
   get a mean look.  With Daisuke Matsuzaka he'd do this thing of   
   bang-bang-bang and bow.  Looks very natural.  Conan suggests ways to   
   make it complicated.   
   	   
   	- He likes to end media sessions giving them advice, like, ``go   
   home and get some ... ''  Well, it turns into knee-boxing anyway.   
   	   
   	- Which felt better, 2004 or 2007?  The first one; it was ... 86   
   years build up.  People couldn't believe it.  Now people can relax into   
   the celebration.   
   	   
   	- Will Mike Lowell re-sign?  He hopes so.  Ortiz pats Conan,   
   making an alarmingly loud noise.
