|    Writers Strike: Day 12 - Romulans!    |
|    16 Nov 07 16:19:22    |
From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu               Well, not so much Romulans *per se*, but the discovery that       novelist Diane Duane -- who wrote among other things several of the       best Star Trek novels, as well as ``Doctor's Orders'' which is mighty       charming despite putting McCoy in charge of the ship -- has her own       reasonably active blog, and that she has been keeping tabs on some of       the interesting sidelines of the writers strike:        http://dduane.livejournal.com/               Unfortunately, the most recent as I look at it -- November       15 -- entry promulgates the If A Letter-Writing Campaign Saved Star       Trek, Then Why Can't It [ BLANK ] idea which is the fandom equivalent       of If We Can Send Men To The Moon silliness. Still, it's Diane Duane       and don't miss the video about a five-year-old explaining the strike.                     --        Joseph Nebus       ------------------------------------------------------------------------------              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
