   	As one of the people who's been promoting the beard as a fine   
   concept since I was old enough to grow one, I endorse his growing a   
   beard in principle.  I have to admit at the moment it looks more like   
   he'd glued a patchy carpet to his face, but that stage will pass in   
   time, and with a more full beard he should look ... ahm ... well, he   
   certainly will look, and isn't that enough?
