From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu               That's pretty much the only strike news as I see it right now.       While David Letterman's Worldwide Pants is negotiating an interim       agreement that would let Letterman and Ferguson go back on the air       under the terms of whatever does eventually get agreed to -- which by       the way would be really, *really* bad for Leno and Conan and probably       force NBC to make an interim agreement as well -- the eight major       studios aren't willing to try separate negotations with the Writers       Guild.               So, barring a Letterman and then I'm assuming Leno and Conan       agreement, we sit without a lot more going on. Anyone see 'Star Trek'       over the weekend, then? WOR showed it Saturday afternoon instead of       Sunday early evening, so I would have missed it except for Tivo's       watchful eye.              --        Joseph Nebus       ------------------------------------------------------------------------------              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
