   	I'm beginning to suspect the existence of a previously unobvious   
   glitch in the local server's handling of alt.* groups.  I have no idea   
   if these are getting out, or if anyone's writing back, and hope to have   
   a fuller report soon, probably going alongside none of the responsible   
   people overseeing the server believing me that a problem exists.
