   	The maze for guest to come out is another triumph for the show   
   as a demented children's show and an expression of the odd childhood   
   impulses that make the show great fun.  Well done, and I hope they can   
   play with the maze some more.  And it's bringing out interesting stuff   
   for guests to talk about, such as Pink mentioning her pet rat.   
      
   	PS to Jim Ellwanger: the show was letterboxed over here on   
   WNBC/New York City.  It may have been a local quirk since, as I   
   understand it, there are about 800 points where an HD broadcast can   
   be accidentally downgraded to Philo Farnsworth's old six-inch-wide   
   glass tube levels of quality.
