|    Writers Strike: Day 82 - Ratings?    |
|    25 Jan 08 21:15:13    |
From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu               So, with Conan back, more or less, how are the ratings, which       had been dropping precariously in endless reruns from October 2007,       doing?               It looks like Late Nights got around two million total       viewers, with a rating of 0.9 in the desired 18-to-49-year-olds, which       is lower than normal but not unheard-of territory either:       http://www.medialifemagazine.com/artman2/publish/Dayparts_update       51/Price_is_Right_falls_off_with_new_host.asp               As the URL notes, The Price Is Right is recording a dropoff       in ratings compared to the same time last year, although network daytime       ratings in general are collapsing at about the same rate. Part of it       seems to be that Drew Carey doesn't have Bob Barker's appeal to the       18-to-24 year old women demographic.              --        Joseph Nebus       ------------------------------------------------------------------------------              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
