From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu               Well, I can't find any bit of Conan-related news that's at       all new or which amounts to anything other than statements that       someone or other has successfully appeared on Late Night. His big       Los Angeles home purchase keeps getting reported by new agencies,       which suggests that many editors have decided this is useful filler       with no paticular date-relevance.               So here's a hypothetical. Yesterday -- the 31st of January --       was the fiftieth anniversary of the United States's first successful       satellite launch, that of Explorer I. Had there been writers to make       a normal-style show, what do you imagine Late Night would have done       with that trivial anniversary?              --        Joseph Nebus       ------------------------------------------------------------------------------              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
