   Why do I see tourists who come to NYC, where there are literally   
   thousands of decent restaurants -- including some of the best in the   
   entire world, if you've got the budget -- go into the Olive Garden in   
   Times Square?   
      
   Basically, there's a lot to be said in this country for humor that   
   doesn't make you think. A lot of people find it appealing, and thus, I   
   think that explains Leno's appeal.   
      
   That said, IMO and this comes from watching Dave since the old show   
   was on NBC, his show has definitely lost a step in the last 18 months   
   or so and is not nearly as good as it once was.
