   	Here's a short but sweet one for your amusement today: a   
   circa 1979 commercial for Dr Pepper.  It's much forgotten today, but   
   in the late 70s the cult of Dr Pepper was at its most aggressive,   
   growing rapidly and openly, with little fear that the authorities   
   would try to liberate the souls brainwashed into the community.  At   
   its peak it would even advertise on network television:
