   This particular species has shown up twice now, once last season and   
   once this season.   
      
   Unlike the Brain Guy from "MST3K," however, they didn't evolve to a   
   point where they didn't need their brains...that apparently actually is   
   how they evolved.  Seems like it wouldn't have actually worked that way,   
   because having a brain on the outside of one's body would be a definite   
   evolutionary DISadvantage, but whatever.  (And if one believes in   
   "intelligent design" instead, well, that's a pretty dumb design.)
