   	Obama ordered the closing of the prison at Guantanamo Bay, and   
   in the spirit of ending torture, ended the New Kids On The Block tour.   
   Obama is trying to freeze funding on last-minute George W Bush   
   proposals, so, the Scooby Doo museum remains a distant dream.  Obama   
   spoke with Israeli and Palestinian leaders, both of whom opened with,   
   ``What's the deal with Aretha Franklin's hat?''  The new Jets coach says   
   the team will go to the Super Bowl soon; he's just not sure where their   
   seats will be.  Larry King was excited to see the first African-American   
   president; he was as thrilled as the time he saw the first fish leave   
   the ocean.  Texas Board of Education members are debating whether   
   evolution should be presented as 'The Theory of Evolution' or 'The Lie   
   That Makes God Cry'.  Experts report it was a flock of geese that caused   
   that plane to crash in the Hudson last week; other experts report it was   
   a flock of seagulls that caused the 80s to suck.  Two of the Max   
   Weinberg 7 were in A Flock Of Seagulls; they don't remember who.   
      
   Setting Aside Childish Things:   
   	The Really Tall Dachshund.  Artoo Mister T-too.  (I pity the   
   Sith.)  Kim Jong l Trapped In A Clothes Dryer.  Gator With gaydar.   
      
   Chimp In A Sketch:   
   	They wanted a chimp in a sketch; they couldn't, chimps are only   
   in the Chimp Belt, south Florida, south Texas, Los Angeles.  One was   
   available today from a Benadryl commercial shoot.  What to do?  Noah the   
   chimp driving a speedboat while towing a pyramid of water-skiing   
   bananas!   
      
   Noches del Pasion con Senor O'Brien:   
   	They're in the jungle set in shadow through the Conologue.   
   Conan flying-squirrel-parachutes in by mannequin.  'I speak the Spanish   
   excellently'.  Conan throws a guy into a pirana-stock-footage infested   
   river.  Noah saves Conan's life.   
      
   Ron Howard:   
   	Five Oscar nominations; audiences come out surprised from   
   Frost/Nixon.  The inauguration was amazing; people wanted to witness it.   
    Dressed as Opie; still looks like him.  It was almost improvised; the   
   Obama folks knew nothing of it.  Humiliate yourself for what you believe   
   in.  Second or third film, Bette Davis liked the role but hated this   
   25-year-old TV guy directing.  ``I will call you Mister Howard until I   
   decide whether I like you or not.''  The first day of shooting took time   
   to break down her resistance.  Nobody knew how the Frost-Nixon   
   interviews came around, making the story.  Nixon's late-night calls were   
   ... weird.  Alarming.  Don't deploy troops.   
      
   Eric McCormack:   
   	His six-year-old son's very cross over a story about his private   
   parts.  Will and Grace is, apparently, in syndication.  Guys stress   
   their girlfriends made them watch the show until they liked it.  New   
   show: partners in ad agency.  Don't tell your kid he's been recast.   
      
   John Cassidy:   
   	Anyone else's life not turned out quite like they planned?  It's   
   not a phase.  It's okay, they don't feel pain like we do.  Stripper on a   
   pole!  LaBamba can never have too much latex.  Lesson about trust;   
   lesson about betrayal.   
      
   	Abrupt outro to commercial and Conan's goodnight looks   
   truncated.  Herb Riede identifies this as the result of retaping   
   Cassidy's part.
