    It's a tough choice to make about whether to move. I'm sure it's   
   not like they'd be short on work in Los Angeles, which does support some   
   musical ventures, but it's *hard* uprooting yourself cross-continent, and   
   the more people and more families and more connections the harder it is.   
   That so many of them are also Jersey Shore musicians complicates things.   
      
    It's almost silent but there's undoubtedly a similar process   
   going on with the writing staff, with people who don't know whether to   
   follow their current employer or strike out on their own in a place   
   they're used to living. It really would be easier if they'd just move   
   The Tonight Show back to New York City, where it belongs.
