|    More on Fallon    |

From: nebusj-@-rpi-.edu               I did catch the comedy bits on Fallon's show last night and       they featured ... the results of merging two magazines together, and       a bit where they show off Fallon's enormously huge TV screen and have       him and an audience member pantomime to what's on screen behind them.       These are, of course, in no way reminiscent of If They Mated or of       Desk Drive, but the sense does feel, you know, familiar but not quite       as flavorful as Conan's. (Of course, twisted backgrounds go back a       lot farther than Late Night with Conan O'Brien.)               The sense I get is his comic sensibility is vaguely pleasant,       but I would like to have something I can say I wouldn't see on another       host's show.              --        Joseph Nebus       ------------------------------------------------------------------------------              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
