   It looks like P&W has higher tolerances......   
      
   I check the dovetail slots.....on stages 1 & 2 GG, and stages 3   
   & 4 PT rotor disks....check for damage and edge break...   
   And a chamfer at the blade end....   
      
   R/O stages 1 & 2 GG curvic, and the cooling plate 'seat'   
   +/- .0005....fwd & aft.....   
      
   Disk flatness......+/- .0005....fwd & aft...   
      
   Shaft spline horizontal from aft to fwd .0001 no +/-...   
      
   Shaft fwd side of the aft flng, flatness check, for the assembly   
   of the PT rotors, before it is sent out to be coated....+.0002   
   max.....no +/-   
      
   T40's, four R/O checks......+.0002 max....no +/-   
      
   Torque tubes and tie rods, visual.....   
      
   I like doing those.....   
      
   Although I'll do any benching myself if the nicks and scratches   
   aren't too bad....on all of the parts, rather than call them out.....

   I use a 3x and a 10x, a surface plate, chamfer gages, bore gages,   
   gage blocks, depth gages, amplifiers, dial calipers and indicators,   
   optical comparator....etc.....   
      
   And a Partridge in a pear tree......
