Oops. Just realized that I only posted this to mailing
lists, not to the newsgroup as well:

Originally found by Brenda S., but rewritten by me. ;-)

On page 12 of the 12-9-03 GLOBE (only on newsstands
through Thursday 12-4), there is a pic-less and rather
dubious story about DD & West:

   : Dog day afternoon
   :
: Hunky DAVID DUCHOVNY was cruising down the Pacific Coast
: Highway with his daughter MADELAINE, when she spotted
: a tiny puppy stranded in the middle of the road. Amid
: cries of "Daddy, look," he managed to swerve to avoid
: hitting the helpless animal, then pulled over and scooped
: him up. With much pleading from little Maddy, the former
: dogless Duchovny household now has a new pet. What'd
: they name him? Fox -- after Dave's character on the
   : X-Files!

   ("The former dogless household"??!!)

On page 8 of the 12-9-03 STAR (also only on newsstands
   through Thursday 12-4) there is a full-page high, half-page
wide pic of Tea pushing West in a stroller. It must
be a stalkerazzi pic, but Tea is looking towards the
camera & smiling, so it feels less guilty than most.
   The caption reads:

   : TEA LEONI
: Leoni strolls 4-year-old daughter Madelaine West
: through Malibu on Oct. 19.

(The rest of this post is all about Hugh):

On page 10 of the same rag, there is a stalkerazzi shot of
Hugh Jackman holding a dog under his right arm (looks like
a very big chihuahua -- maybe a cross between a chihuahua
and a greyhound?) and both his son's hands in his left hand.
The caption is just yet another tiresome pun on his son's
name. He's wearing a red & white cap, brown t-shirt,
& dark sweatpants with a wide white stripe down the sides.

In this week's IN TOUCH (also only on newsstands through
Thursday 12-4), there is an almost-full-page but almost
unrecognizable stalkerazzi pic of Hugh pushing his son in
a stroller. He's unrecognizable because he's hidden under
a cap, a long scarf, sunglasses, a coat, a downcast face
(maybe to avoid the camera?), and a frown. The blurb reads:

   : stars are normal people!
   :
   : A warm front!
   :
: Hunky Hugh Jackman takes no chances with his precious voice.
: The Aussie actor, currently wowing Broadway audiences in the
: hit musical THE BOY FROM OZ, was bundled up warm enough for
: a trip to the North Pole! He wrapped a mile of snuggly
: scarf around the tool of his trade -- his throat. As winter
: arrived on the east coast, Hugh made sure he took sensible
: precautions for a stroll through the streets of Manhattan
: with his sweet 3-year-old son, Oscar.
   :
: [caption]: Brrrrr... the temperature dipped below freezing
   : in New York.
