   Chris Carter confirms X Files movie plans

   Chris Carter, creator of "The X Files", told Variety that plans are   
   definitely afoot to do a second "X File" movie.   
      
   "Frank (Spotnitz) and I have worked out a story, and there's a negotiation   
   with (Fox) going on," he said, adding he's also in development on two other   
   potential features.   
      
   This follows from an interview that David Duchovny did with Teletext last   
   week in which he confirmed that everyone is due back for the new flick. "I   
   think it would be fun at this point, a few years removed, to get back into   
   it and do it," Duchovny tells, adding that Gillian Anderson is raring to put   
   the Scully attire back on too.   
      
   Just one question : Will Chris Carter keep his pinky promise to Brian 'Alien   
   Bounty Hunter' Thompson that he'll give him a role in the new movie? Time   
   will tell
