   since DD was easily the biggest star at the Triathlon this   
   year (especially since the Emmys on the same day probably   
   kept some stars away and made others cancelations   
   [William H. Macy] or no-shows [his wife]), the TV cameras   
   had no Jennifer Garner to mob -- so they mobbed him instead,   
   abandoning their posts at the end of the track (and any lesser   
   stars who may have crossed the finish line in his wake)   
   to trail after him as he headed off into the sunrise.   
      
   Unfortunately, however, I was too busy badly attempting to   
   take bad pictures with the sun shining into my bad camera   
   to notice the logos on the microphones.  ;-(  Fox Sports Net   
   definitely interviewed him before the race, which may or may   
   not be included in the highly edited telecast on Saturday   
   October 16.  But of the cameras after the race, I have no idea.   
   I heard someone say "I guess this means he'll be on ACCESS   
   HOLLYWOOD", so that was probably one of them.  Unlike past   
   years, I didn't see E! or ET for sure, but they may have been   
   there.  Or they may have been too busy setting up for the   
   Emmys to bother covering this event too.   
      
   Even if any of these shows *do* air footage, they may not show   
   it on Monday because of Emmy coverage, but air it on another   
   day instead.  So Tivoers and East Coasters, keep a lookout   
   and let us know!  ;-)
