   It turns out that Jewel Staite (Kaylee on FIREFLY/in SERENITY)   
   played the little girl who got mouth-to-mouth resuscitation   
   from Mulder in "Oubliette"!  Unfortunately, she was too   
   young at the time to properly enjoy the experience.  \;-J   
   She talks about it in the December 2005 STARLOG:

   Long before FIREFLY, Staite was a 13-year-old guest star on   
   THE X-FILES, appearing as Amy Jacobs in the third season   
   episode "Oubliette".  The script called for Staite to get   
   mouth-to-mouth resuscitation from David Duchovny, which caused   
   quite a stir on set.  "Every woman there was so jealous of me,"   
   Staite laughs.  "I was just a kid, so I was grossed out.   
   It was weird having David blow into my mouth all afternoon.   
   I couldn't puff out my cheeks, so I had to swallow his air.   
   I'm sure he was creeped out, too.  I remember him being the   
   nicest guy and giving me advice: 'If [acting] is what you   
   really want, then this is what you have to do.  Don't let   
   anybody else tell you not to.'  Every woman was staring at me   
   like, 'I wish that were me.'  He had nice breath, actually.   
   He smelled very good."
