   In September '67 in Amsterdam, Mark Boyle, who did lights for Soft   
   Machine, has been quoted as saying:   
      
   "We were supposed to open for The Mothers Of Invention at the   
   Concertgebouw but Frank Zappa wouldn't let us, saying 'Anyone can open

   And I recently learned this tidbit - Matching Mole is a pun, "machine   
   molle" being French for 'Soft Machine'.
