   BTW, have toy read Neal Stevenson's "Cryptonomicon"? I like it a lot and   
   it chimes in really well with Saburo Sakai's autobiography "Samurai!".   
   The latter is well worth the reading if you're interested in seeing a   
   Japanese view about the 30s and 40s.
