Until the royalty checks from "Make Me Smile", "Colour       My World" & "25 or 6 to 4" came rolling in!              A side story. I grew in in a quiet neighborhood where most of the houses had       screened in back porches. It was during the Summer of 1971 where a young punk       a few doors down must have gotten an electric guitar for his birthday or       something. Well, the        ONLY thing he knew how to play were the opening chords to "25 or 6 to 4".        Over & over. All Summer long! Became very tiresome after a while. Once when       a friend of mine & I (under the influence) were walking by his house one       Summer's eve & he was        practicing we shouted out "Learn another song". Which made him stop playing       temporarily that evening. Don't know if he ever did learn another.              The OLD Geezer              ND: Organic Roasted Dandelion Root Tea              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
