   ALSO! Even less if someone has stupidly applied some sort of adhesive   
   label on it. Any CD-R I've *ever* had with a label on it went unplayable   
   so much faster than non-labelled ones. Labelled CD-Rs I got from friends   
   in 2003 didn't play without noise past 2006, at best. Stuff I burned   
   myself label-free 10-12 years ago more often than not still plays fine   
   when I try them in the car or at home from time to time.
