   It wasn't just FZ who had a flicker-fetish. I remember seeing Annie   
   Nightingale's "Old Grey Whistle Test" on BBC2 in the mid-70s and that   
   there were a lot of flicker-cut videos shown on that. Besides, wasn't   
   that time also the high-water mark for viciously bright strobe-lighting
