   There has to be a lot more going on that any of us know. The fact that Ahmet   
   and Diva are in charge of the trust while Dweezil and Moon are cut out of that   
   indicates that this rift easily pre-dates Gail's death. Add in Dweezil's   
   comments that Gail    
   charged him "an exorbitant amount" to use the name Zappa Plays Zappa, his   
   legal actions against the Kickstarter project to preserve the vault and fund   
   Alex Winter's documentary... I would love to know what happened between   
   Dweezil and Gail to initiate    
   this rift, and what proceeded to happen between Dweezil and Ahmet to   
   perpetuate it. It's all very ugly.   
      
   It's also tempting to take sides; but since I know very little, and both sides   
   are engaged not only in activities that seem incredibly dickish, but in   
   activities that clearly promote Frank's legacy, it's probably best to just pop   
   some corn, pull up a    
   chair, and watch the sparks fly.
