   Nope - this is just SOP. The usual Tory reaction to this sort of upset is   
   pure Shakespeare: Brutus and chums sharpen their daggers and go looking   
   for Caesar. Except this time there's a slight complication: there are no   
   obvious replacements for the current party leader. Amber Rudd (current   
   Home Secretary) would like the role but looks too much like a May clone:   
   her apparent and predicted policies would be more of the same.
