   performing......but why should have this been a factor since the band had been   
   performing live w/o him for a couple of years.......or was Brian part of the   
   deal when the contract was signed?   
      
   ---That the band was apprehensive because they would be playing before a more   
   sophisticated, diverse rock audience.........being exposed as not really   
   playing their own instruments......relying more on a back up band.....might not   
   have set well with that particular audience...   
      
   ---It was once mentioned in this NG that the BBs might have been hooted off   
   stage for wearing their striped shirts.........But I believe this......since   
   they were the headliners of the Festival they would have appeared   
   last.....Sunday night......hopefully they would have caught the drift of the   
   crowds & caught on & would have dressed accordingly....remember Mike was one of   
   the first Rock 'n rollers to grow a beard,   
      
   ---What do you believe their set list would have been IF they had performed at   
   the Festival........   
      
   Frank & the MOI would have done fine.
