I'm just listening to a piece on BBC Radio 4 about a statue to George
Orwell too be erected in front of Broadcasting House in London.
It is to have a plaque with a quote from the original preface to 'Animal
   Farm' that reads:

"If liberty means anything at all it means the right to tell people what
they do not want to know"

This would seem to be relevant to any public broadcasting organisation.
Attempts to deny this right should be strongly resisted because they
   carry the stench of dictatorship.
