   Mine (almost all are TDK SA tapes) are still in a drawer under the   
   Nakamichi BX-125E tape deck. The Naka is still in great shape, but the   
   tapes I tried just now have all lost level and high frequencies: they   
   sounded rather distant and muffled. This is on my usual amp and speakers,   
   which sound fine on my usual sources these days (FM radio, ripped CDs,   
   Zappateers and other Internet Radio sources).
