   Surely strange times.   
      
   I had to sit through a presentation today by a guy who assured  us he knew   
   everything about trade wars. He started by announcing that he smells a trade   
   war. I snorted. He was not old enough to have been around in the 1930s.   
      
   And he didn't look as if he understood the impact of what he had experienced,   
   ranging from the Tet offensive, My Lai, and then the invasion of Iraq.
