From: JYOB@aol.com              Funny. In my younger days I was a big fan of Neil Diamond up to his "Stones"       Lp in '71. Even saw him in concert once. Then he decided that there was more       $$ to be made singing schmaltzy love songs & that was it for me. Now I never       listen to him at        all. Though his BANG recordings aren't "too" bad. Funny you mentioned       Santana. I enjoyed his music up to his " Welcome" Lp. Then, like most       musicians, he ran out of ideas. Look at the Rolling Stones. They've been       putting out the same album over &        over since "Sticky Fingers"! Would FZ, if still alive, be putting out Big       Band records of all the Classics? Or be putting out Doo Wop cds ad       nauseum?? TOG              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
