   Ah, the Creedence/Eagles divide. Plus, Frank was snarky   
   about (his version of phony) hippies the whole time, so...

   I glommed onto Zappa after 1975, during the Terry Ted era. The   
   Flo and Eddie period is more like a ... comedy stage show and less   
   ... compositional. Or something. I saw the SNL   
   performances in real time.   
      
   They kind of lost me again when everything got reggae.
